Hel
Hel, in Norse mythology, is the ruler of the underground realm of death of the same name. She is descibed as brave, intimidating and stingy, and will not easily give up the dead that come down to her domain. Hel is the daughter of Loki and Angerboda, and sister of the Midgard Serpent and the Fenrir wolf. The common people send Hel to the realm of death because they are afraid of what she might do. She recieves the ones who dies of old age and sickness in her hall named Eljudne, before they are given a place to stay in Hel.
